    Misfits tapped in Ws for five of the first eight games, and that was enough to carry them through to a match win. A Team rallied to split the next two rounds 2-2, so it was 9-7 on the hill. Misfits picked up three of the last four points to wrap up their 12-8 match win. Frank Mercurio and Felix Nunez drove Misfits’ offense with four points apiece, and Mason Fecteau added three. Steve Notini was A Team’s top stick with four points, while Jack Burkhardt assisted with two points.     It’s always intense when the league’s top two teams face each other, and last week’s highly anticipated match between Spartans and The Rat Pack, was no different. They began by splitting the first two rounds 4-4, and then they split the third and fourth rounds 2-2, so it was an 8-8 tie on the hill. In the end, The Rat Pack dominated the final round, 3-1, and took the match win. John Silvestro led for the rats with cues with four points, followed by Jason Doucette and Jacob Hirschhaut, who split four. Marty Moynihan posted a team-leading, 4-point defense that included two runouts, for Spartans, while Mike Notini and Denis Bonaccolta split four. The Rat Pack matches up with Misfits this week, which pits the leagues’ top two shooters John Silvestro against Frank Mercurio, and Spartans’ faces Breaking Bad.

    Even though the match between Breaking Bad and Movin Up began in a 2-2 tie, BB took over at that point, and scored nine of the next twelve points for their fourth-round match win. Movin Up bounced back to split the final round, but Breaking Bad had Christian Bacay, as a sub who proved to be their ace in the hole. Steve Intonti and Christian Bacay drove their offense with four points each, and Sam Phillips posted three! Once again, Larry Shower carried his team with three points. aned Dennis Berkza picked up two. This week, Breaking Bad lines up across from Spartans, and Movin Up faces A Team.
