Savoy Sweeps; Rallies Movin Up in Last Half to Take Match Win 12-8!
Third-ranked A Team took an early 5-3 lead in their match against #2 Movin Up, but midway into their match the momentum shifted, and Movin Up scored nine of the last 12 points to take the match win 12-8. Dave Savoy led their offense with his first 5-game win, followed by Larry Shower who took four which moves him into the #2 spot on Movin Up this week. Tim Yip took three points to lead for A Team, and Paul Lemaire took one. This week, Movin Up faces Spartans and A Team racks up against The Rat Pack.

Spartans Kicks Offense Into High Gear; Seals Early 15-5 Victory!  
Spartans opened their match against Breaking Bad with a 3-1 first round but BB, not a team to go down without a fight, split the second 2-2, which leveled the playing field to 5-3 at the midway point of the match.  Spartans sank six of the next 10 points to take an early, fourth round match win, and swept the final round to wrap up their 15-5 win. Marty Moynihan, Larry Zwicker and Mike Notini scored four points apiece, including Marty’s first runout, and Denis Bonaccolta took three. Sam Phillips, Steve Intonti and Neil Hurley split three points to keep them in the match.  Spartans draws Movin Up this week, and it’s Breaking Bad vs MisFits.

The Rat Pack Sweeps to Open Match; Closes with 13-7 Victory!
Even though The Rat Pack opened their match with a sweep of the first round, Misfits shook it off, took three of four in the second, and narrowed the gap to 5-3 heading into mid-match. The Rat Pack scored eight of the last 12 points to take the W.  Dave Ryall and John Silvestro led for the rats with four points each, followed by Jason Doucette who took three. Jerry Carrigg led for Misdits with two points, and Frank Mercurio and Ramon Salas split two. The Rat Pack faces A Team this week, and Misfits takes on Breaking Bad without their top shooter.
